We are excited to announce a new
opportunity for Hester students: Power Half Hour! Each Thursday from
2:46-3:16 students and teachers will have an extended homeroom that they
can use for academic activities. During this time, students can engage
in activities such as homework, projects, organizing assignments & lockers, catching up on missing work, checking their grades on PowerSchool, and
more. Although students will be working primarily in their homerooms,
they may go to other teachers for extra academic assistance. This
assistance may be at the request of the teacher or the student. We feel
this is an outstanding opportunity for our students to get work done,
get ahead, or get extra assistance. Yesterday our students were
introduced to the Power Half Hour and the whole school will be ready for
the POWER next Thursday the 18th!
