Best (worst?) beard voting cups
It brings me great joy to announce that we have raised a total of $455 for the Prostate Cancer Foundation. The safeway foundation has announced that they will actually match our donation so that means we are actually contributing $910!! Our students, beards and male staff members really went all out during the month of November and for that I just wanted to say THANK YOU dudes! Hopefully HJH can continue this tradition every single year!
And the winner is.................Mr. Cybulski!
We had a great time growing our beards out this year! I am so proud of all the male staff members at HJH! Coming to school every day in November and seeing all the hairy faces was something special. Many of our students really enjoyed looking at our beards. When I finally shaved my face, some of my students actually said "Mr. Z.. we miss your beard." That is the power of the beard my friends!
ReplyDeleteThe fact that we raised that much money in such a short time period really proves how Zawesome Hester really is! When we all rally together as one unit- we can do wonderful things. I am proud to be a wildcat once again and Hester is such a great school.
